There are several applications you can use to save your documents.
Faculty/Staff
Box
Box is a cloud file sharing services like Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive that provides end users with the ability to access files with any Internet-capable device from almost any location. Users can grant access privileges to other users as they see fit, allowing them to share files with coworkers, students, administrators, and colleagues around the world.

Network drive
A network drive allows users to instantly grant access to shared files from one computer to another. Saving a file on a network drive allows you to easily recover a document if this has been deleted.
NOTE: Check with your department to make sure you have access to a network drive before mapping this.
