The Mashups option allows you to create a link to either a Flickr photo a YouTube video or a SlideShare presentation without leaving the RPILMS course site to locate the URL link.
Navigate to the page you want to add the Flickr photo, YouTube video or SlideShare presentation and hover over Build Content.
A drop-down menu will appear. Under Mashups scroll to and click either Flickr Photo, YouTube Video or SlideShare Presentation.
The Search windows will appear.
Enter the keywords to search for a photo, video or presentation and click Go. Once you locate the photo, video or presentation, click Select.
The Name field will pre-fill. Edit the Name to something that makes sense to your course. You can change the text color of the name. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Color of Name. You can also enter a description.

For Flickr: either a Thumbnail or Embed Photo. You can also set the Size Small Square (75x75 pixels); Thumbnail (100 pixels on longest side); Small (240 pixels on longest side); Medium (500 pixels on longest side) or Large (1024 pixels on longest side)
For YouTube or SlideShare: either a Thumbnail, Text Link with Player or Embed Presentation
Select the additional Mashup Options for Show URL and Show Information
You may also attach or link a file. Click Browse My Computer or Browse Course depending if the file resides on your computer or if you've uploaded the file into Course Files.
You can select the Options to permit users to View this Content, track number of views, as well as select date and time restrictions.
When finished, click Submit.
