A Learning Module allows you to present a collection of content such as files, tools and assessments in a sequential navigation or table of contents, in order to guide students to reach subject learning objectives. Hover over Build Content. A drop-down menu will appear. Scroll to and click Learning Module.
The Create Learning Module window will appear. Enter the Name. You can change the text color of the name. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Name. You can enter a description of the Learning Module in the text editor box.
You can change the Learning Module options to permit users to view the content, as well as, select date and time restrictions.
You can change the Learning Module View options, including: Enforce Sequential Viewing of the Learning Module, Open in a New Window, and Track Number of Views.
To show the Learning Module as a Table of Contents, click Yes and set the Hierarchy Display options.
Build the Learning Module
Once you create a Learning Module you need to add the content. Click on the Learning Module Name. The Learning Module will be empty. You can Build Content, Add Assessments or Add Tools to the module.
After you add items to the learning module, you can reorder the items. Hover over the name of the item. Click and drag the double-ended arrow to the left of the Item name to the desired location and release.
