Morning Mail

Overview

Rensselaer’s Morning Mail system aggregates its content from two main sources: news items and announcements that are posted to Rensselaer’s departmental websites, and events that get posted to the campus calendar located at https://events.rpi.edu .

These items are then curated and distributed via email to inform all Rensselaer students, faculty, and staff of important campus news and upcoming events. All MorningMail articles ultimately link back to their respective sources, driving traffic back to the originators' website and organization. This process reminds contributors that they are authoritative and ultimately responsible for the information they provide.

Morning Mail is sent out Monday through Friday, and is not distributed on weekends and holidays, or during the campus winter break.
