Credential window does not pop-up when printing on a Mac

Symptoms

You can verify these symptoms when your Mac laptop does not ask you for your RCS ID credentials when you print a document or file where your desired file or document does not print at all.

Resolution

1. On the top right of your Mac's screen is a magnifying glass symbol. Press on the magnifying glass.

2. A search box will pop-up. Type in 'keychain' and click on the first option you see, which is 'Keychain Access'.

3. On to the top right of the 'Keychain Access' window is a search box. Type in 'printers'. When you should see next is a highlighted item that has 'printers.win.rpi.edu'.

4. Right click on that and hit 'Delete'. After this step, you should be able to see a window that pops up to submit your RCS ID credentials after you press print for a document or file.
