The following document, published by Cisco, contains in-depth instructions and description of the Webex/LMS integration tool (aka Webex Education Connector): Webex Essentials for Faculty and Students.
- Virtual Meetings will automatically post the session’s recording only if the meeting was created and launched from the LMS virtual meetings tab. You must also use ‘Record to Cloud’ option and wait 24-48 hours for the recording to appear under the ‘Recordings’ tab. Recordings cannot be retroactively added to display in the Webex Education Connector; if your recording does not post automatically, you will need to share the recording link manually by posting the URL as a web link elsewhere in the LMS.
- Editing the properties of a recurring Virtual Meeting in any way in the rensselaer.webex.com portal will disable recordings being posted. If you need to adjust your recurring meeting, it is suggested that you create a separate 'stand alone' meeting in LMS, and host that session instead.
- The document linked above contains references to 'Webex Teams.' That application has since been rebranded 'Webex'.
