What Is the MSPilot Mailing List?
All identified users of the MyMediasite service at Rensselaer are added to the mspilot mailing list, a method for Mediasite Administration to reach our key users.
Why is the MSPilot Mailing List important?
MSPilot list messages will keep you informed of upcoming outages, beginnings and endings of maintenance windows, announced improvements, new features, and new articles that have been posted to the ITSSC Help Desk site.
We want to keep in close communication with our userbase, and we highly encourage you to: remain subscribed to this list, review all emails, and note any important dates in your calendar.
Getting Added to the List
Automatic Adds to the List
Rensselaer staff who are manually added to the MyMediasite system are also added to the mailing list at the same time.
Faculty Additions to the List
MyMediasite is available automatically for all faculty to use, but they are not added automatically to the mailing list.
Mediasite Administration periodically reviews faculty usage of MyMediasite in order to determine if any current users are not members of the mspilot mailing list, and will add those users. Proactively, any user can request to be added to the list.
Requesting to be Added to the List
Please submit a support request, and select “Mediasite Support and Training” as the Multimedia Request category in order to request to either be added to the mailing list or to confirm that you are already a member.
