Steps on how to edit existing webforms.

WEBFORMS 2.0
Edit Existing Webforms
Login
Go to https://webforms.rpi.edu/cas and login with your RCS ID and password.
Note: You must be connected to the VPN
Edit Webform elements (fields)
- Click MY FORMS
- Find webform and click Build from dropdown (under Operations column)
- Find element and click Edit from dropdown (under Operations column)
- Edit values under the General or Conditions If you need additional help for a field, hover over icon
- If element is required, check Required box under Form Validation
- Click Save button
Add webform elements (fields)
Common elements
Text field, Text Area, Email, Number, RIN, Telephone, URL, Checkboxes and radio buttons, and File uploads (documents, files, images).
Composite elements (New!)
- Address – includes street, city, state, zip fields
- Contact – includes name, address, phone, email fields
- Name – includes first and last name fields
- Click + Add element button
- Choose an element and click Add element button
- Add Title (required) and Description (optional)
- If element is required, check Required box under Form Validation
- Click Save or Save + Add element
Edit or add Form Confirmation
- In webform, click on Settings tab
- Click on Confirmation tab
- Scroll down to Confirmation settings
- Add or edit Confirmation title and message
- Click Save
Edit or add email(s) to receive webform submissions
- While still in the Settings tab, click on Emails/Handlers tab
- Find Email (under Title column) and click on Edit from dropdown (Under Operations column) or click + Add email button if no email exists.
- Scroll down to Send to
- In the To Email * field select Custom To email address… from dropdown
- Enter email address(es)
- Scroll down to Save
Edit Introductory Text (content that appears above the webform)
Note: In the new version of Webforms this content is part of a separate item in the database but can be accessed from the webform.
- Click MY FORMS
- Find webform and click References from dropdown (under Operations column)
- Click Edit from the dropdown (under Operations column) of the item you want to edit.
View Submissions
- Click MY FORMS
- Find webform and click number under Results column
- Submissions are listed below.
Download Submissions
- Click on the Downloads tab, choose Export format (Delimited text is the default)
- Click on Download
