Overview
How to configure Apple/Mac mail after your email has been migrated to Exchange Online. Requires deleting account and recreating.
Procedures
- Connect to RPI network - either hardwire or WiFi wpa2 if on-campus or VPN if off-campus. (VPN connection is not needed after successful migration but may be needed for this initial configuration)
- Delete existing account:
- System Preferences
- Internet Accounts
- Select Exchange
- Click the [-] minus button to delete it
- Add new account
- Click Microsoft Exchange
- add RPI email address/login with RPI email address and email password
- Duo prompt
- Select the apps you want to use with this account
- click Done
- Close Internet Accounts
- Open Mail
- Allow time to download messages and attachments
