Overview
In certain classrooms on campus, Multimedia Services can provide automated lecture capture (Request Recording of a Classroom Lecture). When requested, MMS will create a channel containing all captured recordings, and this channel can be added to your course.
Procedures or Details
- In your course, add content to your course using the Content Market.
- In the list provided, find Mediasite Content and click to select it. Note there is no + for this item in the Content Market. Selecting it will launch a search in Mediasite.
- The default search is for presentations. Open the Filter dropdown, then select Channel and Shared With Me then click Apply.
- Channels which belong to you and which have been shared with you will be displayed. Click Link to add any channels to your course.
- The selected channel(s) will be added to your course. You can customize visibility, name, and description. Click the three dots next to the course name in order to customize.
- You can edit the title, visibility, whether it opens in a new window, and add a description. Visibility can include a timed release for the entire channel, based on specific release conditions. Once saved, it will appear in your list with your modifications.
