Overview
If a moderator has not been specified for a list, then the owner inherits the privileges and responsibilities of the moderator. Once a moderator is specified, the owner no longer has that role.
Owners and moderators do not receive posts to lists; they must be added as subscribers in order to receive those emails.
Below are some of the more useful send types that can be configured in SYMPA. For each role, their ability to send to the list has been specified.

To navigate to these options: log in, select the list, -> Admin from the left menu, -> Edit List Config tab, -> Sending/receiving setup button. The first option, Who can send messages, has a pull-down menu with the send types.
