Overview
Webex content can be added to any course in Blackboard using the Webex 1.3 content tool. This allows the inclusion of meetings (either single or recurring), imported Webex recordings, online office hours, and classroom collaboration.
Procedure
- Authenticate to Blackboard at https;//lms.rpi.edu.
- Navigate to Courses then select the course you wish to edit.
- On the right, click the link for View course & institution tools
- Scroll through the list of options to find Webex 1.3. Click the "+" to add Webex to your course.
- You will see Webex 1.3 listed under Course Content in your course. By default, it is Hidden from students.
- To the right of Webex 1.3, click on the three dots, then select Edit. This menu allows you to edit the name of the content item, change visibility, and add a description.
- At this point, Webex has been added to the course, but has not yet been set up or enabled. The following articles include information on how to finalize your setup.
