Content Creation
You can add content to a course by simply hovering over the content outline. A line with an + (add) icon will appear on the page, indicating where the content will be located once added. When the line is positioned in the desired location, click the add icon. You can move an item on the outline at any time if you need to reposition its location.
Plus Icon – Select the plus icon to open the create content menu to add materials to the course.
Create – generate new content from the Course Content menu (items listed in the image to the right).
Copy Content – duplicate any element of the course you want to appear in multiple locations. For example, if you use the same assignment with minor variations every week, you can copy the content and then edit for the minor changes.
Upload – upload new documents, and other deliverables to your course.
Cloud Storage – access cloud storage, such as OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
Content Market – connect to external learning materials (LTI – Learning Tools Interoperability).
Content Collection – add documents and files from your course’s content collection on Blackboard.
Content Organization
Rearrange your course by dragging and dropping course content. Any item with the six dots on the side can be dragged and dropped.
Use the three dots on the right-hand side of the screen to find the edit menu for any item in the course content outline.
Use the Edit button to change the settings for the content. These settings differ based on the type of item you are editing.
