Procedures
This process will add an individual's Outlook Calendar to the Slate calendar feeds.
In Outlook:
- Go to portal.office.com
- Login using your RCS ID and password, along with multi-factor authentication is prompted.
- Click the Outlook icon on the left side.
- Click the Settings icon located in the upper right corner of the Outlook window.
- Click Calendar and then Shared calendars.

6. Under Publish a calendar, click the drop-down arrow to the right of Select a calendar and choose Calendar and then choose to the right, Can view when I’m busy.
7. Click the Publish button and the calendar information is added below.
8. Copy the ICS link.

In Slate:
9. In Slate, Click Manage Calendar Feeds, located in the lower right section of the Events module, or Calendar Feeds from the Database.
10. Click "New Calendar Feed"
11. Paste the ICS link and provide a name to the newly added calendar.

12. Select Save.
13. Click "Your Feeds" in the Calendars section located in the lower right section and select the newly added calendar.
14. Toggle Share as free/busy calendar.
15. Select Save.

16. The calendar will now display under 'Calendars'. Select/unselect non-Slate calendars to display or not display, respectively.

NOTE:
It is currently best practice to explicitly set the time zone for an event in the Details tab instead of using the "Autodetect from Location" setting to ensure the correct time is presented in iCal.
