Details & Actions
On the right-hand side of the course page, you will see a column entitled Details & Actions.
This section allows you to manage your course with options such as the following features:
- Roster: You can access basic profile cards and match faces with names. If needed, accommodations (i.e., due date and time limits) can be set for individual users.
- Course Image (optional): When you add an image to the course card in the course listing from base navigation, it can also appear at the top of the course. Images can be edited from the Edit Course Banner image link on the left menu or from the edit button in the upper right corner of the image itself. The image must be at least 1200 x 240 pixels. Include an image description or mark the image as descriptive for images that are not part of the primary content. Images with text aren’t accessible and don’t scale well.
- Attendance: Mark attendance grades and access detailed records.
- Books & Tools: Browse course and Institution tools to use in the course. These tools include items in the Content Market and the course Accessibility Report.
- Question Banks: From the manage question banks page, instructors can import question bank zip files from a Blackboard course. Instructors can also delete imported question banks.
- Add Course Schedule: This option can be used for a single or repeating class sessions. A location field is available where the location can be a place, a URL, or both.
