Overview
You must be added as a designated administrator in order to be able to cancel or delete an event on the campus events calendar, located at events.rpi.edu. To request administrator access for your group, please submit an ITSSC ticket.
Procedures
Cancelling an Event
- Use your RCS ID and password to log in to https://events.rpi.edu/caladmin.
- On the Choose Your Administrative Group page, click on the link for your group (Admissions, Lally, etc).
- From the Main Menu page, click on the Manage Events button.
- Click on the Title of the event you want to manage.
- Scroll down to the Status field and select the canceled option.
Deleting an Event
PLEASE NOTE: We do not encourage you to delete old calendar events. Only delete those that are truly erroneous, such as those that were posted by mistake.
- Use your RCS ID and password to log in to https://events.rpi.edu/caladmin.
- On the Choose Your Administrative Group page, click on the link for your group (Admissions, Lally, etc).
- From the Main Menu page, click on the Manage Events button.
- Click on the Title of the event you want to manage.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Delete Event button in the far right corner. The system should prompt you to either confirm or cancel the deletion.
