Overview
You must be added as an administrator in order to be able to cancel or delete an event on the events calendar, events.rpi.edu. To request administrator access for your group, please submit an ITSSC ticket.
Procedures
Cancel an Event
- Uses your RCS ID and password to log in to https://events.rpi.edu/caladmin.
- On the Choose Your Administrative Group page, click on the link for your group (Admissions, Lally, etc).
- Click on the Manage Events button.
- Click on the Title of the event you want to manage.
- Scroll down to the Status field and select the canceled option.
Delete an Event
PLEASE NOTE: We do not encourage the deletion of old events. Only delete events that are truly erroneous.
- Use your RCS ID and password to log in to https://events.rpi.edu/caladmin.
- On the Choose Your Administrative Group page, click on the link for your group (Admissions, Lally, etc).
- Click on the Manage Events button.
- Click on the Title of the event you want to manage.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Delete Event button in the far right corner. The system should prompt you to either confirm or cancel the deletion.
