Windows Security login pop-up configuring Outlook for Windows

Overview

Steps if you are continually getting a Windows Security login pop-up when configuring Outlook.  After following these steps go back to configuring Outlook.

Procedures 

Reset the Windows Credential Manager:

1. Windows search bar search on:  Credential Manager
2. Click on: Windows Credentials
3. Under Generic Credentials look for Microsoft Office and/or MS Outlook
4. If exist - click the V to the right of each
5. Click Remove
6. Click Yes

Changing Outlook Security Settings - if the above does not work:

1. Open Outlook
2. Click on File - Account Settings - Account Settings
3. Double click on yuor email address
4. Click on More Settings
5. Click on Security tab
6. Uncheck the box next to Always prompt for logon credentials
