Overview
This article will show you how to add the color bar on your plot when using Microsoft PowerPoint for plotting. In the event of color issues with your plot, the color bar will help determine if it is an issue with the plotter or not. Please Note: While optional, in order to be considered for a potential print refund, a color bar will be required if requesting a refund due to color discrepancies.
Procedures
1. Setup and configure your plot in PowerPoint per the Plotting Instructions using Microsoft PowerPoint
2. Download the ColorBar.png
3. Insert -> Pictures -> This Device
4. Select the Color bar to insert it into the document.
5. Use the scaling features and change the size / orientation of the color bar. The dimensions of the color bar should be W: 0.75 IN x H: 6.0 IN. You can change these settings by right clicking the photo -> Select Size and Position -> Edit the Dimensions and make sure that Lock Aspect Ratio is unchecked
(Size and Position window)
6. Once done, make sure the Color bar is 6 inches from the corner of the plot. Once done proceed to print the plot
