Overview
This article will show you how to add the color bar on your plot when using Adobe Illustrator for plotting. In the event of color issues with your plot, the color bar will help determine if it is an issue with the plotter or not. Please Note: While optional, in order to be considered for a potential print refund, a color bar will be required if requesting a refund due to color discrepancies.
Procedures or Details
1. Setup and configure your plot in Illustrator per the Plotting Instructions using Adobe Illustrator
2. Download the ColorBar.png
3. Once downloaded, Select File - > Place
4. Select the ColorBar.png you downloaded and place it in your document
5. At the top of the page, Edit the dimensions so that it is a Width of 0.3 inches and a Height of 6 inches ( 6in x 0.3in if the plot is landscape)
(Width and Height parameters for the selected image)
