Overview
The Division of the Chief Information Officer (DotCIO) has installed a shared version of Adobe Creative Cloud on most the computers in the lobby of the VCC. All of the computers have the newest version of Adobe Illustrator.
Procedures
Shared Adobe Creative Cloud - While we are working on streamlining the login process, in the interim are the below steps to open Adobe Illustrator and continue to plot per the instructions provided.
These computers are licensed for Adobe Creative Cloud and do not require you to have a paid subscription. However, if you do not have a paid subscription, you will need to create a free Adobe account if you do not already have one.
If you have an Adobe account already or a paid subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, when opening
Adobe Illustrator, enter the email address associated with that account/subscription - Click Company or School account if through RPI and proceed to login with your RCS credentials. Otherwise click on Personal Account.
If you do not have an Adobe account go to https://Adobe.com – click Sign in in upper right – click on Create Account. Enter your personal email address and create a password. Go to your personal email and click on the link to confirm your email address. Do not sign up for a trial subscription or you would have to cancel it to avoid charges.
On the computer open Adobe Illustrator. Enter the email address associated with your Adobe account and select Company or Work if have a paid subscription through RPI, otherwise select Personal. Proceed with instructions to plot with Adobe Illustrator.
