Changing Your Recorded Name

Overview

Once you have used the Unity Voice Mail System Setup Guide [PDF 139KB] to set up your voice mailbox, you can dial into the voicemail system from your own phone at any time by dialing 6006 or by pressing your voicemail button. (From another campus phone, dial ext. 6006; from an off-campus phone, dial 1 518 276-6006 press the #key followed by the last four digits of your phone number, #key and your password #.

Procedures

To change your recorded name:

1. Press 4 (Setup Options).
2. Press 3 (Personal Settings).
3. Press 2 (Change Recorded Name). Say your first and last name, then hit the pound (#) key.
4. Hang up.
5. You have now changed your recorded name.
