The Gradebook To Do panel helps instructors identify work that may need grading and grades that may be ready to post. It provides direct access to the related grading and posting tasks.
Use To Do when your question is:
- What student work is waiting for review?
- Which entered grades have not been shared with students?
- Where should I begin my current grading work?
The panel provides a starting point. Before grading or posting, open the related item and confirm that the submission, score, feedback, and other information are ready.

Attention to Task
Use To Do to identify where attention may be needed, then open the related Gradebook area to complete the work. The panel does not replace reviewing the item’s instructions, settings, submissions, attempts, or grading criteria.
If To Do does not display any tasks, the course may not have current submissions requiring grading or entered grades waiting to be posted. You can still use List View or Grid View to review Gradebook information.
