Overview
The purpose of this article is to guide you through connecting your Oculus Quest 2/3 headset to a Wi-Fi network. This allows you to access the online functionalities of the device, including downloading and playing games, interacting with other users, and experiencing various VR content.
Procedure
Connect your Oculus Quest 2/3 to Wi-Fi:
1. Download and install the Oculus App

- Open the App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
- Search for and download the "Oculus" app.
- Create an Oculus account or log in to your existing account.
2. Pair your Oculus Quest with the Oculus App
- Turn on your Oculus Quest and ensure it's fully charged.
- Open the Oculus app on your mobile device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your Oculus Quest with the app. This usually involves entering a code displayed on the headset into the app.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi through the Oculus App
- On your Oculus Quest, navigate to the main menu using the controllers.
- Select "Settings" (Green button in the bottom).
- Go to "Network" or "Wi-Fi."
- Choose your desired Wi-Fi network (rpi_wpa2).
4. Enter Network Credentials
- If the network is secured with a password, enter it when prompted.
- For rpi_wpa2 specifically:
- Username: RCSID
- Password: RCSID Password
5. Troubleshooting
- If you encounter any issues connecting, restart both your Oculus Quest and your router.
- If the problem persists, contact the RPI Helpdesk for further assistance.
