Creating Content: Using Mediasite Capture in the Classroom

Overview

Mediasite Capture is an in-browser recording solution which allows any MyMediasite user to record video, desktop, and audio on any system. It can be utilized to facilitate recordings of lectures and meetings in rooms which are not enabled for automated Mediasite recording.

When utilizing Capture in the classroom or conference room, best practices vary from location to location in order to ensure the best experience for both the recording and the students/attendees.

Multimedia Services recommends filing a support request in order to meet in the planned space with the planned laptop or podium PC in order to assist in determining the best setup for recording in that space.
