Overview

How to download and install a free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Go to: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pdf-reader.html
Click Download PDF Reader.
In the middle section be sure to uncheck both boxes for installing McAfee and uncheck Install the Acrobat Reader Chrome Extension if you see this.
Click Download Acrobat Reader.
Follow the install prompts.
After installing you may need to change the default program for pdf files to this program:
