Overview
You create a meeting in your email client and it auto populates with online meeting information such as WebEx information. Steps to turn this off in Outlook email client and Browser. Be sure to do steps for both.
Procedures
Unchecking in Outlook client:
- Click on File - Options
- Click on Calendar on the left
- Under Calendar Options - click on Add Meeting Provider to right of Add online meetings to all meetings
- Uncheck/clear the box
- Click OK
Unchecking in Web Browser:
- Login to your email from a browser: https://portal.office.com
- Click on the Settings wheel in the upper right
- At bottom click on View All Outlook Settings
- Click on Calendar on the left
- Click on Events and Invitations in the middle column
- Uncheck/Clear box next to Add Online Meeting to all Meetings
- Click Save
- Close window by clicking X in upper right
